Name of the Agreement – Memorandum of understanding between Ministry of Water Resources, The People’s Republic of China and Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Republic of India upon provision of hydrological information of the Brahmaputra River in flood season by China to India
Purpose of the Agreement – The Agreement enables the Chinese side to provide hydrological data in flood season from 15th May to 15th October every year. The Article also enables the Chinese side to provide hydrological data if water level exceeds mutually agreed level during non-flood season
